Upon power-on reset, the AYC-F/G/M60 searches for the
presence of Rosslare's secure application appurtenances. If a
secure application appurtenance is detected, then the AYC-
F/G/M60 is automatically configured as a secure access control
unit. This is indicated by two short beeps. If the secured controller
is not detected, it is automatically configured as a reader,
indicated by one short beep.
1.3 Box Content
Before beginning verify that all of the following is in the box. If
anything is missing, please report the discrepancy to your nearest
Rosslare office.
• One AYC- F/G/M60 unit
• Installation kit
• Installation and operating instructions
• secure application appurtenance (optional for controller)
1.4 Ancillary Equipment
The following equipment is required to complete your installation:
Reader
• Compatible host controller (not supplied) - UL listed
access control unit, i.e., model AC-215U
Controller
• Secure Application Appurtenances
such as the PS-A25T, PS-C25T or PS-C25TU secure
controllers
This unit connects to the following:
o Electric lock strike mechanism or a magnetic lock
device, which implements fail safe (power to lock) or
fail secure (power to open) functions.
o Request to Exit (REX) button—normally open type.
Switch is closed when pressed.
o Door monitor switch.
