Bank A-4: Decode Mode
The Decode Mode function allows you to select 3 Line or 3D Adaptive decode modes in NTSC. In
PAL-B, PAL-M, and PAL-N the decoder uses a 5 line aperture.
Note
Bank A Menu 4 information will differ depending on the input
signal format.
Use the following steps to enable the Decode Mode options:
NTSC
1. Select Bank A, and rotate Function Select to position 4.
2. Choose the desired display mode:
• Toggle Mode Select up for one second to enable the 3 Line decode
function.
• Toggle Mode Select down to enable the 3D Adaptive decode function.
PAL
1. Select Bank A, and rotate Function Select to position 4.
The card defaults to 5 line decode mode.

Bank A-5: Test Pattern
The Test Pattern function allows you to select from two test pattern types or disable the test pattern
option.
Use the following steps to select or disable the test pattern function:
1. Select Bank A, and rotate Function Select to position 5.
2. Select the desired pattern according to the table below:
• Toggle Mode Select up to advance up the list.
• Toggle Mode Select down to descend down the list.

Note
When using the SDI Check Field test pattern, the Heads Up
display must be Off for the test pattern to provide accurate
results.
