Figure 2. Jumper Locations
Use the following sections to set up ADC-8032B jumpers. These setups are performed before
installing the unit in the frame, but may be repeated as required. Refer to Figure 2 for card jumper
locations.
Video Input
Using the figure above and the card silk-screening, set J3 (Input Select) to select the input video
standard:
Auto — automatically select between
NTSC / PAL-B / PAL-M / PAL-N (default setting)
NTSC — forces NTSC decoding
PAL-B — forces PAL-B decoding
PAL-M — forces PAL-M decoding
PAL-N — forces PAL-N decoding
Reference Selection
An analog composite reference is required for Line Sync and Frame Sync modes. The reference can
come from BNC 7 or 8 (BNC 7 and 8 are passively connected on the card) or from the Frame. See
Figure 3. Use JP6 to set reference options:
To select the frame as the reference source, install the jumper in the FRAME
position (the upper two pins)
Note
When the frame is the reference source, the termination jumper
must be set to UNTERM position.
To select BNC 7 or 8 as the reference source, install the jumper in the O/P8 position
(the lower two pins)
