5. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
5.1. WiFi connection problem
If the Wifi does not connect or connects intermittently there probably is a signal strength problem. In
general, if another WiFi appliance like a smartphone or laptop will connect, so will the netAQUA. If the
signal strength is weak there are 3 options:
Wifi signal power is reduced by intervening objects and walls. Metal walls are obviously worse than wood
construction and stucco exterior walls are built with a metal mesh that also impedes radio waves
substantially. The options, like for any WiFi appliance are:
Improve the path between the WiFi router/access point and the netAQUA by moving them closer or with
fewer impediments.
Increase the power with a more powerful or advance design router/access point.
Add a Wifi repeater or range extender to your network.
