Figure 45: Manual Watering Operation Control Programming Mode Help Page
Successive presses of the SCROLL DOWN or SCROLL UP pushbutton switches cycle through these two
help pages. Holding SCROLL UP returns the user to the Manual Watering Operation Control page in
Programming mode.
3.9.6. User Programming Details
The start of programming is possible on any of the Watering Cycle or Manual Watering Operation pages.
Programming mode is entered when the PROG pushbutton switch is pressed for at least two seconds
(hold). At all times when the programming mode is in effect, the letter “P” flashes in the lower right corner
of the screen.
When the programming mode is entered, the first programmable field is highlighted. When the SCROLL
DOWN or SCROLL UP button is pressed, the highlight advances to the next programmable field. When
the last (or first) programmable field is reached in the given direction (down or up) on the current screen,
the first (or last) programmable field is highlighted.
When the PROG pushbutton is pressed while a programmable field is highlighted, that programmable
field begins to flash. While the field is flashing, successive presses of the SCROLL DOWN or SCROLL
UP buttons cycles through the possible values. When the ENTER pushbutton is held, the currently
selected value becomes stored for that programmable field, and that programmable field stops flashing
and becomes only highlighted.
3.9.6.1. Special Case Global Watering Enable/Disable
A special case for user programming exists on the Main Control page. When the LCD interface is at this
page, you can hold the ENTER pushbutton to toggle the Global Watering Enabled condition. This single
button operation is intended to make it easy for a local user to quickly override automatic programming
and shut off watering. The system can be re-enabled with this control as well.
