Successive presses of the SCROLL DOWN or SCROLL UP pushbutton switches cycle through these two
help pages. Holding SCROLL UP returns the interface to the Watering Cycle page in Programming
mode.
3.9.5. Manual Operation Control Level LCD Page
The Manual Operation Control level contains one LCD page where you can manually launch a complete
watering cycle or an individual zone. From the Manual Watering Operation page the user can enter the
programming mode by holding the PROG pushbutton switch. (See Figure 43: Manual Watering
Operation Page).
While in the manual watering programming mode, you can set a cycle or zone and the desired time.
The Manual Operation page contains the following data settings:
• Cycle: 1 through 4
• Zone: 1 through 9 (or 8 if Zone 9 is configured for Master Valve control)
• Time: minutes
• Abort: YES or NO
The ? character in the upper right corner of the display indicates that a help page is available for the
Manual Operation page. Hold the SCROLL DOWN and SCROLL UP buttons together for two seconds to
descend to the help page.
The general arrangement of a Manual Operation page data follows the concept shown in Figure 43.

If a cycle is currently watering, it’s corresponding indication indicates the current zone and number of
minutes left. If a different cycle is desired for manual launch, the current cycle is automatically aborted
when the new one is programmed. Only one manual watering cycle can be ON at any one time.
If a zone is currently watering, it’s corresponding indication indicates number of minutes left. In this case,
when only a zone is running that is not part of a cycle, it must have been launched manually. A selection
