One thing that you have to ensure is that the static address that you select for the netAQUA must be
unique on your network. There are as many ways to do that as there are router designs, so you might
have to consult your router manufacturer for a detailed explanation. In our example case, the Netgear
WNR3500L is set-up to assign network addresses in the range of 192.168.1.200 to 192.168.1.253. This
can be seen in the “User Router as DHCP Server” group of settings in Figure 24: Router DHCP Range
below. For clarity, DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, which is a fancy way of saying
that the router is assigning network addresses to devices on the network.
