Models Uniport is available in three models designed to interface a
USB keyboard and USB mouse to a Rose KVM switch, a Rose KVM
adapter cable, or to the PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports on a computer.
Installation
InstallationInstallation
Installation Installing the Uniport direct connect model is a quick and
easy process. Connect the Uniport to the DB25F, KVM port on a KVM
switch, then connect your USB keyboard, USB mouse, and monitor
cables to the corresponding connectors on the Uniport, and it's ready to
use. There is no needed configuration or external power.
To install the Uniport In-Line model, connect the Uniport to a Rose KVM
adapter cable with PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors, or directly to
a computer with PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports.
To install the Uniport cable model, connect the KVM port on a Rose KVM
switch to the DB25M connector. The HD15F and USB keyboard and
mouse connectors connect to a monitor and USB keyboard and mouse
cables.
Note: All Uniport models support USB keyboards and mice only.
Other USB peripherals are not supported.
