Dual DVI Video model Application
CrystalView DVI Plus basics The CrystalView DVI
Plus system consists of a transmitter that connects to a
PC, or server and a receiver that connects to a USB
keyboard, DVI monitor, and USB mouse. Additional,
USB 2.0 compliant devices such as a USB printer or
camera can be connected to the receiver unit. The
transmitter and receiver units are connected together
with up to 1/4 miles of standard multimode fiber cable.
Models The CrystalView DVI Plus is available in three
different models to meet your system application
requirements. Two single link models and one dual link
model. All models support USB keyboards and mice,
DVI video, and USB 2.0 compliant devices. The dual
video model is available for systems that need to
digitally transmit a second video source.
Installation
Installing the CrystalView DVI Plus units
is as easy as connecting the KVM station and USB
devices to the receiver, connecting the computer to the
transmitter, and connecting the transmitter to the
receiver with fiber cable.
Keyboard and Mouse emulation The CrystalView
DVI Plus uses a microprocessor to emulate the
keyboard and mouse. Only the transmitter unit has to
be connected for the PC to boot properly.
