⑥ Apply roof sealant to the top and each side edge of the brackets.
This adds additional UV protection.
Cover the exposed RT butyl tape with roof sealant.
No need to apply it to the bottom of the brackets.
You may verify that the screws underneath the deck panel are stained
with butyl rubber. This indicates a good flashing performance.
