③ If there is a shingle gap
within 2 inches from the
base, sealant shall be
applied to the gap as it is
shown.
● Best to position the
bracket 2 inches away
from the slit.
● If the mounting screw is
within less than 2 inches
from the slit, fill the slit
with roof sealant.
