Base Leveling Options
[Case 1]
● Use RT butyl tape to level the
surface of the composite shingle
roof.
When there are gaps in the
position to install, cut RT butyl
tape to the shape and apply it. It
is an option to cut the upper
(unsealed) layer from an
architectural shingle once it is
unsealed (loose).
