Thus, at each moment only one of Slaves can transmit a carrier, and such transmission is fully controlled by

Master. The choice of Slaves is carried by their serial numbers (use “show system” command to see it). If Master

suddenly stops the transmission of its carrier, the active Slave also shuts down its transmission.

Controlled SCPC Commands:

Selection of CSCPC modes:

OFF - disabled

DEMOD - CSCP mode is enabled, but modulator would be active only if demodulator is in lock with

any carrier.

MASTER - “Master” mode of CSCPC

SLAVE - “Slave” mode of CSCPC

The following commands are applicable for “Master” stations only.

cscpc frequency 950000-1700000 - Transmit central frequency (KHz)

Transmit central frequency for Slave.

cscpc symbol-rate 250-32000 - Symbol rate (KSps)

Symbol rate for Slave.

cscpc standard s1|s2 - Transmission standard

Standard of transmission - DVB-S1 or DVB-S2.

cscpc s1 uncoded|1/2|2/3|3/4|5/6|7/8 - FEC mode

Forward Error Correction mode for DVB-S1

cscpc s2 qpsk 12|35|23|34|45|56|89|910 - QPSK FEC mode

Forward Error Correction mode for DVB-S2 with QPSK modulation

cscpc s2 8psk 35|23|34|56|89|910 - 8PSK FEC mode

Forward Error Correction mode for DVB-S2 with 8PSK modulation

cscpc s2 pilots off|on - Pilots insertion

Roloff factor for DVB-S2.

cscpc level 0-360 - TX power level (x -0.1 dBm) 0-default

Power level of Slave’s carrier. If set to 0 Slave will use its own setting for power level.

cscpc activate 00000000-40000000 - Active slave serial number

Selection of active Slave station. The parameter should be equivalent to a serial number of respective

Slave. This command could be also sent by SNMP protocol.

The following statistic information could be retrieved by “show cscpc” scpc command:

Master responds with complete setting, while Slave reports about return channel parameters only that have been

received from Master.
