29 Operation of RS-500/600 Series with Manual Chain Hoist

Manual Operation with Chain Hoist
1. Carefully pull chain to open (Raise) door.
2. When door is fully raised, securely hook chain into Catch bracket as shown
in Chain Hoist Instructions.
3. To Close (Lower) door, securely hold chain. Unhook chain from bracket.
Gradually close door.
Caution!
NEVER RELEASE CHAIN WHILE DOOR IS BEING RAISED OR LOWERED!
You must maintain tension on chain while door is lowered to
prevent rapid drop (closing) of the door.
