CONNECTION/
OPERATION
Plug a microphone
into
the
XLR
input
on
the
front
of
the
unit
. The Level will control
the
volume
of
the
XLR
input.
1 / 8" (3.5mm) Jack: Connect a Tip-Ring-Sleeve stereo
plug
into
this jack.
NOTE
: Connect-
ing
a Tip-Sleeve MONO plug i
nto
this
jack
might
lead
to
low
volume being sent
out
as
the
right
side
will
be shorted
to
ground
if
a
mono
plug
is
used.
Connect
the
plugable barrier strip connector
to
the
microphone
input
wires.
The 0B228 will passively send signals
plugged
into
the
front
panel
of
the
0B228
to
the
rear plugable barrier strip connector. The Level
knob
will
adjust
the
volume
of
both
the
1/ 8" and
XLR
input.
You
can use
both
the
XLR
and
1/8"
inputs
at
the
same
time
. Both
signals will be sent
to
the
barrier strip
output
of
the
0B228. When using
both
inputs
at
the
same
time
you
might
have a difference
in
level between
the
1/8"
input
and
the
XLR
input.
This
is
normal operation
for
the
0B228.
