Safety (Continued) 7 WARNING: BATTERY SAFETY • Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead compound (asic) chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, reproductive harm, and are toxic and corrosive. DO NOT open the battery. • Contact exposure to battery leakage (lead acid) may cause serious injury. Immediately contact your doctor if exposure occurs. If the chemical is on the skin, flush immediately with cool water for 15 minutes.

Charging Instructions 9 YOU MUST CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE THE FIRST USE! ONLY AN ADULT SHOULD HANDLE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER. To Charge the Battery: 1. Ensure the car is stopped and turned off. 2. Unlock and remove the seat. 3. Unplug the red battery connector (A) from the red engine connector (B). 4. Connect the red battery connector (A) to the red battery charger connector (C) and plug (D) into a 120 V outlet. Battery To Unplug the Battery: 1.
Assemble the Front Wheels 7 A 10.4 B 1. 2. 3. 4. 1 Locate the washer(10.4) from the blister box. Slide the washer (10.4) onto the front axle (A). Slide the front wheel (7) onto the front axle. Push on the center BMW button on the wheel (B), and slide the wheel into place while holding the button. 5. Release the BMW button then gently pull the wheel to ensure four steps. 6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the remaining front wheel.
Assemble the Left Rear Wheel 8 A B 10.4 2 1. Locate the washer (10.4) from the blister box. 2. Slide the washer (10.4) onto the rear wheel axle (A). 3. Slide the left rear wheel (8) onto the left rear axle. The side with the gear teeth (B) faces inward. 4. Push on the center BMW button on the wheel, and slide the wheel into place while holding the button. 5. Release the BMW button then gently pull the wheel to ensure four steps.
Assemble the Right Rear Wheel A 8 3 1. Slide the rear wheel (8) with the gear teeth facing inward onto the rear axle (A). 2. Line up the gear teeth on the wheel with the grooves on the gear box. 3. Push on the center BMW button on the wheel, and slide the wheel into place while holding the button. 4. Release the BMW button then gently pull the wheel to ensure three steps.
Attach the Steering Wheel 13 5 A B 4 1. Locate the steering wheel screw (10.1) and nut (10.3) from the blister box. 2. Plug the steering wheel connector (A) into the dashboard connector (B). 3. Insert the steering wheel (5) into the steering rod, and match the screw holes of the steering wheel and the steering rod. 4. Insert the screw into the hole and fasten the nut to secure. Engine Sound • • Horn Sound Press the left and right buttons on the steering wheel to make sounds.
Attach the Mirrors 3 A B 5 1. Locate mirror screws (10.2) and nuts (10.3) from blister box. 2. Insert the left side mirror (3) into the slot on the side of the body. Push it into the slot. 3. Insert the screw (A) and fasten the nut (B) to secure the mirror. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the right side mirror.
Attach the Seat 15 2 6 1. Position the seat (2) over the battery compartment 2. Slide in the hook on the back of the chair into the empty slot on the car body. 3. Turn the thumb screw clockwise on the seat to lock it properly into position.
Battery Removal Screw Battery Strap Battery (4) A B 7 1. Disconnect the red battery connector (A) from the red engine connector (B) . 2. Loosen and remove the screw. 3. Unfasten the battery (4) from the strap. 4. Remove the battery. Note: It is not necessary to remove the battery for charging. However, if the battery does not reach the outlet, it can be removed for charging.
Operating Instructions 17 1 2 4 57 6 3 1. To turn on the vehicle, turn the power switch to “I.” To turn off the vehicle, turn the power switch to “O.” 2. Push the shifter up to move forward. Push the shifter down to go in reverse. 3. Press the foot pedal down to go. Release the foot pedal to stop. The head lights on the car will turn on when the gas pedal is pressed and the car is in motion. 4. Volume Control: Turn right to turn on the MP3 player. Adjusts the volume on the MP3 player 5.
Maintenance Important Battery and Charger Information • Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings may handle and operate the battery and battery charger. Keep away from children. • Charge the battery for 24 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. • Charge the battery immediately after each use. Charge for at least 8-12 hours, but no more than 20 hours. • Charge the battery at least once a month, even if the vehicle is not used or stored.
General Care 19 • • • • • • Regularly inspect all vehicle parts to ensure they are in good working condition. Regularly inspect the charger, cord, plug, and other related parts for damage. Remove any damaged parts and immediately contact Customer Service for replacement parts. See Service and Repairs on Page 24 for more information. DO NOT operate the vehicle if there are any damaged parts. Carefully clean the vehicle with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not get water in or near any electrical parts.
