III. Transporting and Storage During transport, the roller should be handled and packed with care. Be careful not to shake or damage the unit. Store the roller in a dry, dust free environment. IV. VI. Operation a.) Place a small amount of vegetable oil on both ends of the rollers to insure they move smoothly. b.) Turn on the power switch. c.) Set the temperature control knob to your proper cooking temperature. The heating indicator light will turn on as the element rises in temperature. (Figure C) The element and indicator light will shut down when the element reaches the desired temperature. When the temperature drops the element will re-engage and the heating indicator will turn back on.
VII. Cleaning and Maintenance a.) Be sure to turn off the power and unplug the unit during maintenance and cleaning. b.) The rollers are coated in a nonstick material for easy cleaning. Use a warm damp cloth or other soft material to clean. Rough or abrasive cleaners and materials may damage the nonstick coating. c.) DO NOT submerge the rollers or try to clean the unit with water.
