1. Safety Instructions HAZARD for children • Children do not recognize the hazards that can result from the incorrect use of electrical equipment. The scanner should consequently be kept away from children. • Keep children away from packaging material. Danger of suffocation ! ELECTRICAL hazard • Never immerse the Multi Scanner, the USB connection cable and the USB mains adapter in water, as this may cause an electrical shock.
WARNING against injuries • Install USB connection cable so that it does not become a trip hazard. CAUTION – material damage • Place Multi Scanner on a sturdy, level surface. • Protect the device against moisture, dust, high temperatures and direct sunlight as these may cause malfunctioning and can damage the electronics or housing. • Ensure that there is enough space for ventilation around the device. • Keep a safe distance to heat sources, such as hobs or ovens.

3. Inserting slides Open the slide holder at the point marked “Open“ and place the open holder in front of you as shown below. The slides can now be placed the right way up (not turned and not reversed) in the recesses provided in the holder. Close the slide holder and press down the edges until they engage. Now insert the slide holder from the right into the Multi Scanner’s insertion slot for slide and negative holders so that the white triangle marking is facing the front and is visible.
4. Inserting negatives Open the negative holder at the point marked “Open“ and place the open holder in front of you as shown below. The negatives can now be placed the right way up (not turned and not reversed) in the recess provided in the holder. You can use the numbers on the negative strip as a guide. Close the negative holder and press down the edges until they engage.
5. Inserting photos Insert a photo into the photo holder for the respective picture size. The holders are available in sizes 9 x 13 cm (3 ½“ x 5“), 10 x 15 cm (4“x 6“) and 13 x 18 cm (5“ x 7“). Note: • Handle photos with due care. Dust, scratches or fingerprints will be visible on the saved image. Insert picture frame into slot in the top of the scanner (see illustration). Prior to scanning photos, ensure that no slide or negative holder has been left in the scanner.
6. General operation 6.1. Quick start • To scan slides or negatives, slide the switch at the top for the scan mode and for selecting the insertion slot to the left “Film scanner” position. To scan photos, slide both switches to the right, to the position “Photo scanner”. • Place slide, negative or photo to be scanned in the respective holder. • Insert the slide or negative holder into the insertion slot on the right of the device or place the photo holder in the slot on the top of the device.
If no memory card is inserted in the device, the following warning appears when the Multi Scanner is switched on. The warning disappears after several seconds. 6.2. Main menu After switching on the scanner, the main menu of the scan mode appears on the display. When in submenus, you can return to this Main menu at any time by pressing the MODE key. The two illustrations below show the Main menu for the film scanner mode in two different selection conditions with information about the available options.
The next two illustrations show the Main menu of the photo scanner mode with information about the available options. 6.3.1. Flipping an image During the scan preview (live display) you have the option of flipping the image vertically or horizontally prior to scanning. This function can be used to correct the orientation of incorrectly inserted pictures. Note: • The set flipped alignment shall also remain if the image is changed or another menu is selected after which scanning is continued. The flipped alignment shall, however, not remain if the Multi Scanner is switched off.
6.3.2. Adjusting image brightness and colors During the scan preview you have the option of changing the brightness value (EV) and also the color value. First press the ENTER button. Now the monitor will display the settings for the brightness and also for the colors red (R), green (G) and blue (B). Choose the desired value by pressing ENTER and MODE and change the settings by pressing and within the range of -2 to +2. To apply the changes you have made, press the SCAN button.
Save Use the / keys in the Edit menu to select the option “Save“ and click on the ENTER key. The recorded image is then saved on the memory card. The scanner then returns to the scan preview. Save Cancel Using the / buttons select the “Cancel” option and confirm the selection by pressing ENTER. This interrupts the editing of the currently scanned image and returns to the live display function.
6.3.5. Memory full If the SCAN key is pressed in the Recording mode and the following warning appears on the Multi Scanner display, the used memory is full. In this case you will have to first transfer the images to the computer or insert a new memory card before scanning further images. Note: • If the memory card is removed or inserted whilst the Multi Scanner is switched on, a warning message that the device has to be restarted, appears on screen. The scanner then switches off automatically.
6.4.1. Automatic slideshow Symbol for slideshow mode As soon as you have switched on the Playback mode, all images of of the memory card are automatically displayed at 2-second intervals. Only images scanned by the Multi Scanner will be displayed; images from other sources cannot be played back. If Playback has been selected but the memory contains no scanned image the display briefly shows the message “No file“. The device then returns to the Main menu. 6.4.2.
Below is another illustration of the described menu sequences. To rotate the selected image by 90 degrees clockwise, select the option “Rotate+90°” using the / keys in the Edit menu and click on the ENTER key. You can then continue turning the image or save it.
Save To permanently save an image, first use the / keys to select the option “Save”. After pressing the ENTER key the image is saved and the next image is shown on the screen. ENTER Delete To completely delete the shown image, first select the option “Delete” with / keys in the Edit menu. After pressing the ENTER key the image is deleted and the next image is shown on the screen. At the same time the selection changes automatically to “Exit”. Select “Delete” again to delete more images.
Home To leave the Edit menu and return to the Main menu use the / keys to select the option “Home” and press the ENTER key. You can also change to the Main menu at any time using the MODE key. No image If the last remaining image has been deleted in the Playback mode, the display shows the adjacent image, indicating that no photo exists. After several seconds the Multi Scanner changes back to the Main menu. 6.5.
6.6. Effects (only in photo scanner mode) The photo scanner mode allows you to preset whether colour or black and white photos are to be scanned. Use the / keys in the Main menu to select the option “Effect” and confirm the selection by clicking on ENTER. ENTER Colour Black and white Use the / keys to select the desired colour effect and confirm the selection by clicking on ENTER. The Multi Scanner then changes directly to the capture mode. 6.7.
6.8. Setting the resolution The Multi Scanner contains an image sensor with a 5.1 megapixels resolution. You also have the option of selecting an interpolated resolution of approx. 10 megapixels. Slides and negatives are recorded at 5 megapixels (“5M”) with 2,760 x 1,840 pixels. By selecting the “10M” option, the film scanner mode will produce images with 3,900 x 2,600 pixels. In the photo scanner mode the resolution differs depending on the setting of the image size.
6.9. Language setting The language setting in the menus can be changed at all times. Use the / keys in the Main menu to select the option “Language” and confirm the selection by clicking on ENTER. ENTER Use the / keys to select the desired language and confirm the selection by clicking on ENTER. The Multi Scanner then automatically returns to the Main menu. 6.10.
7. BlazePhoto (image processing software) The software CD contains the image editing program BlazePhoto. This program offers basic functions for archiving and post processing of photos. The program allows you to improve, change and manage images scanned with the Multi Scanner and burn them to CD/DVD. 7.1. Installation Insert the supplied software CD in the CD/DVD drive of your computer. The Welcome window appears on the display of your computer. Select the option “Install BlazePhoto 2.
When the option Search folder is selected, the drives and folders currently available on the computer are shown in the program section. The folder containing the respective images can then be selected. The images contained therein are then shown in the preview so that you can select individual or all images.
The clipboard function allows you to pre-select individual images for further processing. Highlight one or several images in the preview by clicking on them with the left mouse button and selecting the option “Hold”. A lock symbol will then be applied to the thumbnails in the template. In order to remove an individual image again from the Clipboard, click on the image with the right mouse button and select “Delete selection”.
You can improve the overall appearance of an image by changing the colour or sharpness of the image using the following functions: • Red eye: If a person appears to have red eyes in an image, this can be corrected. Using the mouse, drag a close frame around the eye and then click on “OK”. To apply the frame correctly, first enlarge the image using the zoom function above the image. • Color: In some images the image quality can be improved by adjusting the brightness, contrast, hue or colour saturation.
7.2.4. Create The BlazePhoto program offers you the option to compile image series and save these for archiving or forwarding on CD or DVD. • Create disk: Select option “Create disk” to save images to CD or DVD. This will save all images on the CD or DVD. • Create slideshow DVD: The program offers the option to create and save a set slideshow from the images on the clipboard. The slideshow is initially stored in a file on the hard disk and can then also be burnt to a DVD for playback via a DVD player.
8. Disposal Dispose of this packaging in the proper manner befitting the relevant materials, and in an environmentally responsible manner, at the collection points provided. Disposing of this product correctly: The sign shown opposite indicates that electrical and electronic equipment is not permitted to be disposed of together with normal domestic rubbish/garbage. Please use the return and collection points in your local authority district or consult the retailer from whom the product was bought.

3. Vorbereitung 3.1. Stromversorgung Über den USB-Anschluss seitlich am Multi Scanner kann das Gerät direkt mit dem Strom verbunden werden. Schließen Sie das USB-Kabel entsprechend den Abbildungen an den Multi Scanner und an den USB-Netzadapter an. Stecken Sie den USB-Netzadapter in eine frei zugängliche Steckdose ein. Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit. Hinweis: • Der Multi Scanner kann auch über den USB-Anschluss eines Computers mit Strom versorgt werden.
3.3. Speicherkarte einsetzen Wenn keine Speicherkarte eingelegt ist, so erscheint beim Einschalten nebenstehender Warnhinweis. Dieser erlischt nach wenigen Sekunden. Setzen Sie daher zunächst eine Speicherkarte ein, bevor Sie Bilder einscannen. Es können SD-/SDHCund MMC-Speicherkarten bis maximal 16 GByte verwendet werden. Führen Sie die Speicherkarte in den Speicherkarten-Schacht auf der Seite des Scanners entsprechend der nebenstehenden Abbildung ein.
3.4. Speicher voll Wenn Sie im Aufnahmemodus die SCAN-Taste betätigen und es wird im Display des Multi Scanners die nebenstehende Warnung angezeigt, so ist die verwendete Speicherkarte voll. Sie müssen die Bilder dann zunächst auf den Computer übertragen oder eine neue Speicherkarte einsetzen, bevor Sie weitere Bilder einscannen können. Wird daraufhin ca. 2 Minuten keine Taste des Scanners betätigt wird, so schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab.
4. Bildvorlagen einlegen Hinweis: • Achtung: Führen Sie den Dia- bzw. Negativ-Halter nicht von der linken Seite in den Eingabeschlitz des Scanners ein und ziehen Sie den Halter nicht zur rechten Seite aus dem Gerät heraus! Schäden, die dadurch verursacht werden, unterliegen nicht der Garantieleistung! • Behandeln Sie Fotos, Dias und Negative mit Sorgfalt. Staub, Kratzer oder Fingerabdrücke werden auf dem gespeicherten Bild zu sehen sein. Tragen Sie, wenn möglich, Baumwollhandschuhe während des Scannens.
4.2. Negative einlegen Um mit dem Multi Scanner Negative einzuscannen, schieben Sie beide Schiebeschalter in die Position „Film Scanner“. Negative werden hier als „Film“ betrachtet. Öffnen Sie den Negativ-Halter an der mit „Open“ markierten Stelle und legen den geöffneten Halter wie im nachfolgenden Bild dargestellt vor sich hin. Die Negative platzieren Sie nun in normaler Ausrichtung (nicht gedreht und nicht seitenverkehrt) in die dafür vorhandenen Aussparungen des Halters.
4.3. Fotos einlegen Um mit dem Multi Scanner Papierfotos einzuscannen, schieben Sie beide Schiebeschalter in die Position „Photo Scanner“. Legen Sie ein Foto in den der Bildgröße entsprechenden Fotoschlitten ein. Die Schlitten stehen in den Größen 9 x 13 cm (3 ½‘‘ x 5‘‘), 10 x 15 cm (4‘‘ x 6‘‘) und 13 x 18 cm (5‘‘ x 7‘‘) zur Verfügung. Hinweis: • Fotos, die nicht exakt in einen der Fotoschlitten passen, sollten nicht in den Multi Scanner eingelegt werden.
5. Allgemeine Bedienung 5.1. Scanvorbereitungen • Wenn Sie Dias oder Negative scannen möchten, so schieben Sie beide Schalter an der Oberseite (Scan-Modus und Scan-Vorlage) auf die linke Position „Film scanner“. Wenn Sie jedoch Papierfotos scannen möchten, so schieben Sie diese beiden Schalter nach rechts auf die Position „Photo scanner“. • Legen Sie das zu scannende Dia, Negativ oder Papierfoto in den entsprechenden Halter ein. • Führen Sie den Dia- bzw.
5.2. Hauptmenü Wenn der Multi Scanner eingeschaltet wird, so erscheint im Display das zum ausgewählten ScanModus „Film scanner“ oder „Photo scanner“ gehörige Hauptmenü. Sie können jederzeit aus den Untermenüs mit der Taste MODE zu diesem Hauptmenü zurückkehren. Im Hauptmenü können Sie mit den Tasten / die gewünschte Option auswählen; bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl mit der ENTER-Taste. 5.2.1.
5.2.2. Hauptmenü Fotoscanner-Modus Die nächsten beiden Bilder zeigen das Hauptmenü des Fotoscanner-Modus mit Hinweisen auf die zur Verfügung stehenden Auswahlpunkte. Im Fotoscanner-Modus werden Papierbilder eingescannt.
5.3. Filmtyp (nur im Filmscanner-Modus) Bevor Sie im Filmscanner-Modus Dias oder Negative einscannen, muss der vorliegende Filmtyp eingestellt werden. Wählen Sie dazu im Hauptmenü mit den Tasten / den Punkt „Film Typ“ aus und bestätigen diesen mit der Taste ENTER. ENTER Negativ Streifen: Mit dieser Option können Farb-Negative als Normalbild eingescannt werden. Dia: Wählen Sie „Dia“, wenn Sie einen Dia-Halter mit Dias eingelegt haben.
5.5. Fotoformat wählen (nur im Fotoscanner-Modus) Im Fotoscanner-Modus muss der Multi Scanner auf die Größe des eingelegten Fotos eingestellt werden. Wählen Sie dazu im Hauptmenü mit den Tasten / den Punkt „Bildgröße“ aus und bestätigen diesen mit der Taste ENTER. ENTER 5“ x 7“ Format (13 x 18 cm). 4“ x 6“ Format (10 x 15 cm). 3½“ x 5“ Format (9 x 13 cm). Wählen Sie mit den Tasten / das gewünschte Bildformat und bestätigen Sie mit ENTER.
Um die gewünschte Auflösung einzustellen, wählen Sie im Hauptmenü mit den Tasten / den Punkt „Auflösung“ aus und bestätigen diesen mit der Taste ENTER. ENTER 5 Megapixel Auflösung. 10 Megapixel Auflösung (Interpoliert). Wählen Sie mit den Tasten / die gewünschte Auflösung und bestätigen Sie mit ENTER. Der Multi Scanner wechselt danach direkt in den Aufnahmemodus. 5.7. Aufnehmen Wählen Sie im Hauptmenü die Option „Aufnahmemodus“ und starten Sie diesen durch Betätigen der ENTER-Taste.
5.7.1. Scannen und Bearbeiten Drücken Sie während der Scan-Vorschau die Taste SCAN, um das eingelegte Bild einzuscannen. Daraufhin wird das Bild im Bearbeitungsmenü angezeigt. SCAN Eingescanntes Bild Die Symbole im Bearbeitungsmenü haben folgende Bedeutungen: Sichern: Das aufgenommene Bild abspeichern. Abbrechen: Die Bearbeitung des Bildes abbrechen. Menü: Zurück zum Hauptmenü. Sichern Wählen Sie im Bearbeitungsmenü mit den Tasten / die Option „Sichern“ aus und drücken die ENTER-Taste.
Abbrechen Wählen Sie mit den Tasten / die Option „Abbrechen“ und bestätigen Sie mit ENTER. Dadurch wird die Bearbeitung des aktuell eingescannten Bildes abgebrochen und zur Scan-Vorschau zurückgekehrt. Achtung: Das eingescannte Bild wird nicht gespeichert! Menü Um aus dem Bearbeitungsmenü in das Hauptmenü zurückzukehren, wählen Sie mit den Tasten / „Menü“ aus und drücken die Taste ENTER. Alternativ können Sie die MODE-Taste drücken. Achtung: Das eingescannte Bild wird dabei nicht gespeichert! 5.7.
5.7.4. Spiegeln Sie haben während der Scan-Vorschau (Live-Anzeige) die Möglichkeit, das eingelegte Bild vor dem Einscannen horizontal oder vertikal zu spiegeln. Mit Hilfe dieser Funktionen können falsch eingelegte Bilder in die gewünschte Ausrichtung gebracht werden. Hinweis: • Die eingestellte Spiegelung bleibt auch erhalten, wenn das Bild gewechselt oder ein anderes Menü gewählt wurde und anschließend das Scannen fortgesetzt wird.
5.8. Wiedergabe Um bereits eingescannte Bilder anzuschauen, können Sie im Hauptmenü zur Wiedergabe wechseln. Sie gelangen bei eingeschaltetem Scanner jederzeit über die MODE-Taste bzw. das Menü-Symbol ins Hauptmenü. Dort wechseln Sie mit den Tasten / zum Modus „Wiedergabe“ und drücken dann die ENTER-Taste. oder Filmscanner-Modus 5.8.1.
5.8.2. Einzelwiedergabe Symbol für Einzelbildanzeige Drücken Sie während der Diaschau die ENTER-Taste, so stoppt die Diaschau und das letzte Bild wird dauerhaft angezeigt. Sie haben nun die Möglichkeit, mit den Tasten und die Bilder einzeln zurück- oder vorzublättern. Dabei wird im oberen Teil des Displays anstelle des Symbols für die Einzelbildanzeige der Dateiname des aktuellen Bildes angezeigt. Bild zurück Bild vor 5.8.3.
Drehen Sie haben die Möglichkeit, gescannte Bilder nachträglich zu drehen. Um das ausgewählte Bild um 90 Grad im Uhrzeigersinn zu drehen, wählen Sie im Bearbeitungsmenü mit den Tasten / die Option „Drehen+90°“ und drücken die ENTER-Taste. Analog zu der beschriebenen Vorgehensweise können Sie ein Bild mit der Option „Drehen-90°“ um 90 Grad gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. ENTER Hinweis: • Das gedrehte Bild wird nicht automatisch gespeichert. Dies geschieht erst nach Durchführung der Option „Sichern“.
Löschen Um das angezeigte Bild endgültig zu löschen, wählen Sie zunächst im Bearbeitungsmenü mit den Tasten / die Option „Löschen“. Nach Drücken der Taste ENTER wird das Bild gelöscht und das nächste Bild angezeigt. Gleichzeitig wechselt die Auswahl automatisch auf „Beenden“. Um weitere Bilder zu löschen, wechseln sie erneut auf den Punkt „Löschen“.
Menü Um das Bearbeitungsmenü zu beenden und ins Hauptmenü zurückzukehren, wählen Sie mit den Tasten / den Punkt „Menü“ und drücken dann die ENTER-Taste. Sie können auch jederzeit mit der Taste MODE in das Hauptmenü wechseln. 5.9. Spracheinstellung Sie können die Spracheinstellung der Menüs jederzeit ändern.Wählen Sie dazu im Hauptmenü mit den Tasten / den Punkt „Sprache“ aus und bestätigen diesen mit der Taste ENTER.
5.10. USB-Modus Nach dem Scannen von Bildern auf eine Speicherkarte können Sie die Karte entnehmen und die Bilder am Computer über ein Kartenlese-Gerät übertragen. Sie können den Multi Scanner zudem direkt am Computer anschließen, um die Bilder von der eingelegten Speicherkarte zu übertragen. Verbinden Sie dazu den Multi Scanner über das USB-Kabel zunächst mit einem USB-Anschluss des Computers und schalten das Gerät ein.
6. BlazePhoto (Bildbearbeitungssoftware) Auf der Software-CD finden Sie das Bildbearbeitungs-Programm BlazePhoto. Dieses Programm stellt Ihnen grundlegende Funktionen zur Archivierung und Nachbearbeitung von Fotos zur Verfügung. Damit können Sie die über den Multi Scanner erfassten Bilder nachträglich aufbessern, verändern, verwalten und auf CD/DVD brennen. 6.1. Installation Legen Sie die mitgelieferte Software-CD in das CD/DVD-Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein.
Wenn Sie den Punkt Ordner durchsuchen ausgewählt haben, so werden im Programmbereich darunter die Laufwerke und Ordner angezeigt, die in diesem Moment auf dem Computer zur Verfügung stehen. Dort können Sie den Ordner mit den gewünschten Bildern anwählen. Die darin vorhandenen Bilder werden dann in der Vorschau angezeigt, so dass Sie einzelne oder alle Bilder auswählen können.
Über die Ablage-Funktion können einzelne Bilder vorab ausgewählt werden, die zur weiteren Bearbeitung vorgemerkt werden sollen. Markieren Sie dazu in der Vorschau ein oder mehrere Bilder durch Anklicken mit der linken Maustaste und wählen dann die Option „In Ablage“. Dadurch erhalten die Miniaturbilder in der Ablage ein Schloss-Symbol. Um ein einzelnes Bild wieder aus der Ablage zu entfernen, klicken Sie das Bild mit der rechten Maustaste an und wählen „Auswahl löschen“.
Sie können zudem den Gesamteindruck eines Bildes verbessern, indem Sie etwa die Farbgebung oder die Schärfe des Bildes verändern. Dazu sind folgende Funktionen vorhanden: • Rote Augen: Weist eine Person in einem Bild rote Augen auf, so können diese korrigiert werden. Legen Sie mit der Maus einen möglichst eng gefaßten Rahmen um ein Auge und klicken dann auf „OK“. Um den Rahmen optimal ansetzen zu können, sollten Sie das Bild mit Hilfe der Zoomfunktion oberhalb des Bildes zunächst vergrößern.
6.2.4. Erstellen Das Programm BlazePhoto bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Bilderserien zusammenzufassen und zur Archivierung oder Weitergabe auf CD bzw. DVD zu speichern. • Disk erstellen: Um eine Sicherung von Bildern auf CD bzw. DVD vorzunehmen, wählen Sie den Punkt „Disk erstellen...“. Damit werden alle in der Ablage vorhandenen Bilder auf CD bzw. DVD gesichert. • Diashow-DVD erstellen: Es besteht die Möglichkeit, aus den Bildern in der Ablage eine feste Diaschau zu erstellen und abzuspeichern.
7. Entsorgung Die Produktverpackung besteht aus recyclingfähigen Materialien und kann dem Wertstoffkreislauf zugeführt werden. Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung sortenrein und umweltgerecht in den bereitgestellten Sammelbehältern. 3. Introduire les diapositives Ouvrez le support de diapositives au niveau de l’endroit marqué « Open » et posez devant vous le support ouvert comme montré sur la photo ci-dessous. Placez maintenant les diapositives dans le sens normal (ni retournées ni inversées) dans les logements du support. Fermez le support de diapositives et appuyez sur les bords jusqu’à entendre un clic.
4. Introduire les négatifs Ouvrez le support de négatifs au niveau de l’endroit marqué « Open » et posez devant vous le support comme montré sur la photo ci-dessous. Placez maintenant les négatifs dans le sens normal (ni retournés ni inversés) dans les logements du support. Vous pouvez, à cet effet, vous orientez à la numérotation présente sur les bandes de négatifs. Fermez le support de négatifs et appuyez sur les bords jusqu’à entendre un clic.
5. Introduire des photos Placez les photos dans les supports correspondant à la taille de la photo. Les supports de photos ont les tailles suivantes : 9 x 13 cm (3 ½‘‘ x 5‘‘), 10 x 15 cm (4‘‘ x 6‘‘) und 13 x 18 cm (5‘‘ x 7‘‘). Remarque : • Traitez les photos avec précaution. La poussière, les rayures et les empreintes de doigts sont visibles sur la photo mémorisée. Placez le cadre à photo dans la fente en haut du Multi Scanner (cf. photo).
6. Manipulation générale 6.1. Manipulation générale • Si vous souhaitez scanner des diapos ou des négatifs, poussez le contacteur sur le dessus pour le mode scan et pour sélectionner la fente de lecture sur la position de gauche « Film scanner ». Cependant, si vous souhaitez scanner des photos, poussez les deux contacteurs vers la droite sur la position « Photo scanner ». • Placez les diapos, négatifs ou photos à scanner dans les supports correspondants.
Si aucune carte mémoire n’a été introduite dans l’appareil, alors, à la mise en marche du Multi Scanner apparaît l’avertissement suivant. Celui-ci disparaît au bout de quelques secondes, la mémorisation des données scannées se fera alors sur la mémoire interne. 6.2. Menu principal Lorsque le scanner est mis en marche, apparaît alors sur l’écran le menu principal du mode de scan à choisir. Vous pouvez à tout moment sortir du sous-menu et revenir à ce menu principal avec la touche MODE.
Les deux figures suivantes montrent le menu principal du mode scanner de photos avec les remarques sur les points de sélection disponibles. 6.3.1. Inverser Pendant la visualisation du scan (affichage en direct), vous avez la possibilité d’inverser horizontalement ou verticalement la photo insérée avant le scan. À l’aide de ces fonctions, vous pouvez orienter les photos introduites dans le mauvais sens. Remarque : • L’inversion réglée est conservée lors que vous changez de photo ou que vous sélectionnez un autre menu et que vous poursuivez le scan. Mais lorsque vous arrêtez le Multi Scanner, cette inversion n’est pas conservée.
6.3.2. Ajuster la luminosité Pendant la prévisualisation du scan, vous avez la possibilité de modifier le taux de luminosité (taux EV) de la photo. Pour ce faire, appuyez sur la touche ENTER et modifiez la valeur avec les touches et dans une plage de -2 (foncé) à +2 (clair). Pour reprendre la valeur sélectionnée et pour revenir à la prévisualisation du scan, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche ENTER. 6.3.3.
Sauvegarder Pendant l’affichage en direct, appuyez une fois sur la touche SCAN ; le menu de traitement s’ouvre. Avec les touches / sélectionnez dans le menu de traitement l’option « Sauvegarder » et appuyez sur la touche ENTER. La photo enregistrée est sauvegardée sur la mémoire interne ou sur la carte mémoire. Ensuite, le scanner revient à l’affichage en direct. Sauvegarder Annuler Avec les touches / , sélectionnez l’option « Annuler » et confirmez avec la touche ENTER.
6.3.5. Mémoire pleine En mode enregistrement, lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche SCAN et que sur l’écran du Multi Scanner s’affiche l’avertissement suivant, alors la mémoire utilisée (mémoire interne ou carte mémoire) est pleine. Vous devez d’abord transférer les photos sur l’ordinateur ou placer une nouvelle carte mémoire avant de pouvoir scanner d’autres photos.
6.4.1. Diaporama automatique Symbole du mode diaporama Dès que vous avez activé le mode de lecture, toutes les photos de la mémoire interne ou de la carte mémoire s’affichent automatiquement sur l’écran par intervalle de 2 secondes. Seules sont lues les photos qui ont été enregistrées par le Multi Scanner ; les photos provenant d’une autre source ne peuvent pas être lues.

Sauvegarder Pour sauvegarder une photo retournée, passez d’abord au point « Sauvegarder » avec les touches et . Après avoir appuyé sur la touche ENTER, la photo est sauvegardée et la prochaine photo apparaît sur l’écran. ENTER Effacer Pour effacer définitivement la photo affichée, sélectionnez d’abord dans le menu de traitement l’option « Effacer » au moyen des touches et . Après avoir appuyé sur la touche ENTER, la photo est effacée et la prochaine photo s’affiche.
Menu Pour terminer le menu de traitement et revenir au menu principal, avec les touches et , sélectionnez le point « Menu » et appuyez sur la touche ENTER. Avec la touche MODE, vous pouvez revenir à tout moment dans le menu principal. Aucune photo Si, en mode de lecture, la dernière photo existante a été effacée, alors l’écran affiche la mention ci-contre indiquant qu’il n’y a plus de photo. Au bout de quelques secondes, le Multi Scanner revient dans le menu principal. 6.5.
6.6. Effet (uniquement en mode scanner de photos) En mode scanner de photos, vous pouvez régler d’avance si les photos doivent être scannées en couleur ou en noir et blanc. Pour ce faire, dans le menu principal, au moyen des touches et , sélectionnez le point « Effet » et confirmez avec la touche ENTER. ENTER Couleur Noir et blanc Avec les touches et , sélectionnez l’effet de couleur souhaité et confirmez avec la touche ENTER. Le Multi Scanner passe ensuite directement en mode enregistrement. 6.7.
6.8. Régler la résolution Le Multi Scanner dispose d’un capteur de photos avec une résolution de 5,1 mégapixels. De plus, vous avez la possibilité de sélectionner pour les photos une résolution interpolée d’environ 10 mégapixels. Les diapos et les négatifs sont enregistrés à 5 mégapixels (« 5M ») avec 2.760 x 1.840 points. Avec le réglage « 10M » pour 10 mégapixels, en mode scanner de films, vous obtenez des photos avec 3.900 x 2.600 points.
6.9. Réglage de la langue Vous pouvez modifier à tout moment le réglage de la langue des menus. Pour ce faire, dans le menu principal, avec les touches et , sélectionnez le point « Langue » et confirmez avec la touche ENTER. ENTER Avec les touches et , sélectionnez la langue souhaitée et confirmez avec la touche ENTER. Ensuite, le Multi Scanner revient automatiquement dans le menu principal. 6.10.
7. BlazePhoto (logiciel de traitement d’images) Sur le CD de logiciels, vous trouverez le programme de traitement d’images BlazePhoto. Ce programme met à votre disposition les fonctions fondamentales d’archivage et de traitement de photos. Ainsi, vous pouvez améliorer, modifier, gérer et graver sur CD/DVD les photos scannées avec Multi Scanner. 7.1. Installation Placez le CD de logiciels fourni dans le lecteur de CD/DVD de votre ordinateur.
Si vous avez sélectionné le point Rechercher dans un dossier, le programme affiche les lecteurs et les dossiers actuellement disponibles sur l’ordinateur. Là, vous pouvez sélectionner les dossiers avec les photos souhaitées. Les photos qu’ils contiennent sont prévisualisées de manière à pouvoir sélectionner chaque photo ou toutes les photos.
Avec la fonction Corbeille, vous pouvez sélectionner d’avance certaines photos devant être traitées ultérieurement. Pour ce faire, dans la prévisualisation, marquez une ou plusieurs photos en cliquant dessus avec le bouton gauche de la souris et sélectionnez l’option « Maintenir ». Ainsi, les photos miniatures sont pourvues d’un symbole de cadenas dans la corbeille.
Vous pouvez également améliorer l’aspect général d’une photo en modifiant par exemple la couleur ou la netteté de la photo. Vous disposez des fonctions suivantes : • Oeil rouge : si sur une photo, une personne a des yeux rouges, vous pouvez les corriger. Avec la souris, fixez un cadre si possible restreint autour des yeux et clique ensuite sur « OK ». Pour pouvoir fixer le cadre de manière optimale, vous devriez agrandir d’abord la photo avec la fonction zoom au-dessus de la photo.
7.2.4. Créer Le programme BlazePhoto vous offre la possibilité de regrouper des séries de photos et de les archiver ou de les sauvegarder sur un CD ou un DVD. • Créer un disque : pour effectuer une sauvegarde des photos sur un CD ou un DVD, sélectionnez le point « Créer un disque » Toutes les photos se trouvant dans la corbeille sont sauvegardées sur le CD ou le DVD. • Créer un diaporama : a partir des photos déposées dans la corbeille, il est possible de créer et sauvegarder un diaporama fixe.
8. Élimination L’emballage du produit se compose de matériaux recyclables et peut être remis au cycle des matières premières. Éliminez-les en respectant l’environnement. Lorsque l’appareil a fini sa « carrière », il faut l’éliminer en respectant la directive européenne 2002/96/CE et ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères normales. Apportez les appareils usagés à un centre de traitement des déchets électriques.
