4. Operation

Take up the media.



Make the setting for the AUTO switch on the take-up unit.

Take-up with outward curl

Take-up with inward curl



While supporting the dancer roller

feed out media and take it up on the

paper tube.

While using to feed out the

media a little at a time, pull the dancer

roller back toward you, stopping at a

place where the dancer roller doesn't

go back into the machine when you

let go of it.

Let go of the dancer roller, then

press

again. When the take-up

unit starts to perform take-up, release

When you begin take-up, take care to ensure that the end of the media does not become rolled or

creased.
