Hold down and , switch on the main power switch.
When a message appears on the display screen, release the operation-panel buttons.

When this screen appears, press .
The sub power is switched o and the display screen goes blank.
This completes selection of the ink mode that enables use of AQUEOUS PIGMENT ink.
2. Switch on the sub power again, and make the initial settings.

Hold down and press the sub power
switch.

Use to select the language you want.
Press


Use to select the unit of measurement you want
(for length).
Press


Use to select the unit of measurement you want
(for temperature).

3. Insert the ink cartridges for the respective colors.

When this screen appears, press .

Make sure the drain bottle is installed.
Press

Press simultaneously.
Hold down until the
message appears.
