[File] - [Export] - [DXF] command
This saves the 3D data as a file in DXF format.
When you have specified an area or object, only the selected portion is saved.
The output file can be read by applications that support the DXF file format. Color information for rendering is
not saved.
Toolbar button:
[File] - [Export] - [STL] command
This saves the 3D data as a file in STL format. Color information for rendering is not saved.
When you have specified an area or object, only the selected portion is saved.
Running this command displays a dialog box for choosing the STL file format.
Make sure the program supports the STL file format, then choose either [Text] or [Binary] format. If both are
supported, it is usually better to choose the binary format, which uses comparatively less space.
Toolbar button:
[File] - [Export] - [Point Group] command
This saves the coordinate values of polygon vertices as a text file.
When you have specified an area or object, only the selected portion is saved.
The coordinates are exported in one of the following formats, depending on the separator character. The
coordinate values are in millimeters.
Comma: <X coordinate>, <Y coordinate>, <Z coordinate> [CR][LF]
Space: <X coordinate> <Y coordinate> <Z coordinate> [CR][LF]
Tab: <X coordinate> [TAB] <Y coordinate> [TAB] <Z coordinate> [CR][LF]
* [CR] and [LF] are new-line control codes.
* [TAB] is tab control codes.
Toolbar button:
[File] - [Run 3D Editor...] command
This starts 3D Editor, which you can use to edit three-dimensional shapes that have been scanned.
You can perform such tasks as changing the size or severing a three-dimensional shape, or reducing the number of
polygons.
By selecting polygon and then running this command, you can export only the selected portion to 3D Editor.
