Area Ellipse
This selects polygons by using an ellipse.
Area Polygon
This selects polygons by using a multi-sided shape.
Rotate Point of View
This command allows the object to be rotated by dragging with the mouse to change the angle of view.
Shortcut: Hold down the [Space] key while dragging the object.
Using the Arrow Keys
Move Point of View
This command allows the object to be moved by dragging with the mouse.
This is used to view parts of the object which lie beyond the edge of the window.
Shortcut: Hold down the [Ctrl] key while dragging the object.
Zoom In / Out
This command enlarges or reduces the view of the object.
Drag toward the top of the screen to zoom in or toward the bottom to zoom out.
Shortcut: Hold down the [Shift] key while dragging the object.
Fit to Screen
This command expands or reduces the size of the object shown to fill the screen.
Point Group
This displays only the scanning points of objects.
Wire Frame
This command displays the object using only a gridwork of lines.
Hide Lines
The lines that represent the back of the object, which ordinarily is hidden from view, are called "hidden
lines."
This command toggles the display of these hidden lines on and off.
Rendering
This command adds color and shadowing to the displayed object.
Coordinates and Distances
This command toggles display of the [Coordinates and Distances] window on or off.
