Daily Care and Maintenance
To prevent the print heads from drying out or clogging, this machine automatically performs cleaning of the print
heads (using its self-cleaning feature).
The machine automatically determines the interval for performing self-cleaning, based on factors such as the ambient
temperature. However, this interval can also be changed by you.

Periodic Care and Maintenance
Periodic care is essential to ensuring optimal printing at all times. Based on your frequency of use, periodically clean
the heads using a cleaning kit.

Note: The print heads are components that wear out. Periodic replacement is required, with the frequency of
replacement depending on use. Purchase them from your authorized Roland DG Corp. dealer.
