6. Prepare the media for take-up on the paper pipe.

Use adhesive tape to fasten the media securely to the paper pipe.
Apply adhesive tape at about five evenly spaced locations.


 Secure the center of the media in place while keeping the media stretched taut to keep it free
of slack.


 While pulling the media, working from the center toward the outer sides, secure the media it
place at intermediate locations between the center and the left and right edges.


 Line up the left and right edges of the media with the guide marks on the paper pipe and secure
the media in place.
■ Take-up with outward curl
