2-2 Loading and Cutting Off Media

Move the take-up dancer roller inwards and se-

cure it in place with the stopper.

Let the media hang down to the front of the

take-up dancer roller and move the loading le-

ver toward the rear.

Slowly pull the media out straight until it reaches

the location shown in the figure.

Never grasp the left and right edges when pulling out.

Pull back the loading lever to secure the media

in place.

Close the cover for the feed unit.

Pull out the media until its lead-

ing edge touches the tube.

Hold near the center.
