Chapter 1 Introduction
Dryer Power-cord Connector
This supplies power to the dryer. A 200 to 240 V electrical
outlet is required.
Printer Power-cord Connector
This supplies power to the printer unit and media take-up
and feed systems. A 200 to 240 V electrical outlet is required.
Operation Panel
You use this to perform various
operations.

Front Cover
Be sure to close this when you
perform printing.
Loading Lever
You operate this when you
load media.
Right Side Cover
You remove this when you perform
maintenance.
Dryer
This speeds up ink-drying. It com-
prises a drying heater that warms the
media and a blower fan that blows
moving air onto the surface of the
media.
Printer Main Power Switch
This is the main power switch for the printer unit.
Ethernet Connector
This is used to connect the
printer to a network.
Drain Bottle
This collects drained ink and other such fluids. Discard
any collected fluid before it overflows.
Dryer Main Power Switch
This is the main power switch for the dryer.

Printer Unit
You can place a
cleaning kit here.
Cartridge Slots
This is where ink cartridges are in-
stalled. Installation is accomplished
by opening the cover.
