5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

Insert the ink cartridges for the respective colors.



Open the cartridge-slot cover.



Remove the dummy cartridges.

Keep the removed dummy cartridges from being dis-

carded.

These are needed when the machine is moved.



Insert the ink cartridge for each color.

Inserting makes the ashing stop. When all have been in-

serted, the screen display changes.



Close the cartridge-slot cover.

Ink-lling is performed automatically.

Ink-lling takes about 15 minutes.

Never switch o the sub power while it is in progress.

Ink-lling is completed.

Dummy cartridge

 Keep the side with the arrow face up.

 Insert and remove slowly, one at a time.

 Be sure to insert rmly all the way, until

you hear a beep.
