For example, to arm partitions 1 and 2 in a 3-partitioned system
with code 1234, you would press the following keys in step 4:

NOTE:
1. Only the Grand Master can program a Macro Key.
2. Macro keys cannot be programmed to perform disarming commands.
To program a Macro key:
1)
From the User Functions menu, select [8] Macro Key.

Enter the Grand Master code followed by

The Choose Key menu lists the 3 Macro keys. Select the
Macro key that you want to program.

Press [1] for 2 seconds (Or the Macro key you selected in
the previous step)

Use the numerical keys or the
key to enter a
series of characters representing your required keys, as
described on page 47. Each character you enter is
displayed in the second line of the LCD.

After entering the series of characters,
ensure that the cursor is placed in the
field after the last character in the
series otherwise, the last character
you defined and everything after it will
be erased, and the Macro key will not
perform the required function. Press
[1] for 2 seconds again (or the Macro
key you selected in step 4). The series
of characters is saved and assigned to
the selected Macro key.

If required, select an additional Macro key to program and
repeat the above procedure.
