The New ROKINON SP 10mm f/3.5
(New York, New York) February 25, 2019- ROKINON has introduced its new Special Performance (SP) 10mm
f/3.5 Full Frame Lens for Canon EF mount.
This ultra-wide angle lens provides the widest non-distorted angle of view currently available for Canon full
frame sensor cameras. It joins the ROKINON SP 14mm f/2.4, SP 35mm f/1.2, SP 50mm f/1.2, and SP 85mm
f/1.2 lenses that are all built to the highest standards with extreme sharpness and premium image quality.
In line with ROKINON’s other Special Performance Lenses, this world class prime lens yields extraordinary
image quality for 50 megapixel photos and 8K (8192 x 4320) video productions. It also provides equally
amazing ultra-wide images with Canon APS-C sensor models where it delivers a 35mm EFL of 16mm.
The ROKINON SP 10mm’s impressive 18 elements in 11 groups design makes use of one High Refractive
Index and three Aspherical elements to control spherical aberrations and for improved sharpness
throughout the aperture range. Three Extra-low Dispersion elements reduce color fringing and chromatic
aberrations. Ultra Multi-Coating is utilized on all lens surfaces to minimize ghosting while also increasing
contrast and color accuracy.
Its features include an ergonomically shaped aluminum alloy housing with integrated hood, a precise and
silky-smooth manual focus control, full use of Canon’s exposure control modes, and registered EXIF info.
Focusing to 10.2”, it’s great for dramatic close up ultra-wide shots.
The new ROKINON SP 10mm F3.5 for Canon is ideal for product,
landscape, architecture and real estate photographers that
demand excellent performance. It will be available from authorized
ROKINON dealers in April 2019 with a MSRP of $1199.00.
A Nikon F mount version of the ROKINON SP 10mm F3.5 will follow.
