INTENDED USE The Retroback Wheelchair Back Support (“Retroback”) is a wheelchair back product designed to fit over the wheelchair sling back upholstery on a range of wheelchair sizes. (See the Sizing Table included in this manual.) The Retroback is composed of a foam pad, a cover, and a steel clip that hooks to a wheelchair sling back. The Retroback can be used with folding or fixed frame wheelchairs. The Retroback is not a replacement for the original manufacturer’s wheelchair sling back.
PARTS DETAIL A. E. B. C. D. F. Product Registration Card A. Cover: The cover consists of a front foam section and a back clip section. The top has a three section Velcro® enclosure. The front material is 100% water resistant nylon and the sides are 100% polyester knit spacer fabric. The back and the section divider are 100% polyurethane coated nylon knitted fabric. B. Foam Pad: Provides additional support to the user's pelvis & trunk. Made of polyurethane foam. C. Back Clip: Chrome plated steel clip.
ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS To Attach the Retroback to a Wheelchair: 1. Orient the Retroback with the foam pad side facing towards the front of the wheelchair, the back clip facing towards the back seat sling, and the Velcro side of the cover facing up. 2. Slide the back clip down over the wheelchair sling back so the sling is between the nylon back side of the cover and the back clip. 3. Push the Retroback down until the top of the back clip rests on the center of the top edge of the wheelchair sling back.
COVER REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT To Remove The Cover: 1. Remove the Retroback from the wheelchair. 2. Pull open the Velcro flap sections on the top edge of the Retroback cover. 3. Pull the foam pad out of the cover’s front foam section. 4. Unsnap both of the snaps holding the back clip in place. 5. Slide the back clip out of the cover’s back clip section. CLEANING AND DISINFECTING Cleaning and disinfecting are two different processes. Cleaning must precede disinfecting. Disassemble the Retroback before cleaning or disinfecting any of its components. To clean the cover, machine wash in warm water (40˚ C). Air dry. To disinfect the cover, hand wash in warm water using 1/2 cup liquid household bleach per quart of water (125 ml bleach to 1 liter of water) solution and rinse thoroughly, or machine wash in hot water (60˚ C). Air dry.
Limited Warranty What is covered? ROHO, Inc. covers any defects in materials or workmanship of the product. Any substitutions of supplied components will void the warranty. For how long? 12-months from the date the product was originally purchased. What we will do. Within a reasonable amount of time after you return the product to us, we will repair or replace any defect in material and workmanship and ship it back to you, all free of charge. What we will not do.

INSTRUCCIONES DE COLOCACIÓN To Attach the Retroback to a Wheelchair: Para colocar el Retroback en una silla de ruedas: 1. Oriente al Retroback con el lado de la almohadilla de espuma mirando hacia el frente de la silla de ruedas, el clip posterior mirando hacia el espaldar del asiento, y el lado del Velcro de la funda mirando hacia arriba. 2.
RETIRAR Y REEMPLAZAR EL COBERTOR Para retirar el cobertor: 1. Retire al Retroback de la silla de ruedas. 2. Abra las secciones de solapas de Velcro en el borde superior de la funda del Retroback. 3. Retire la almohadilla de espuma de la sección de espuma de la funda delantera. 4. Desabroche los broches que sostienen el clip posterior. 5. LIMPIEZA Y DESINFECCIÓN La limpieza y la desinfección son dos procesos diferentes. La limpieza debe ser previa a la desinfección. Retire el Retroback antes de limpiar o desinfectar cualquiera de sus componentes. Para limpiar el cobertor, lávelo en la lavadora con agua cálida (40˚ C). Deje secar.
Garantía limitada ¿Qué está cubierto? ROHO, Inc. cubre cualquier defecto en los materiales o en la fabricación del producto. Cualquier substitución de los componentes proporcionados, anulará la garantía. ¿Por cuánto tiempo? Por 12 meses a partir de la fecha en que se adquirió el producto originalmente. Lo que haremos.
