Type BOF
7.1 Remove stud bolt (7).
7.2 Unscrew and remove screw spindle (3) from
body (1)
7.3 Remove cyl. screw (16) and take off guide plate (6)
7.4 Pull movable jaw (2) off body
7.5 To reassemble the vice, reverse the above
procedure.
7.6 The screw spindle and movable jaw must always
move easily.
Type BSS
7.1 Remove stud bolt (7).
7.2 Loosen cylinder screw (18) from guide sleeve (9).
7.3 Withdraw guide sleeve (9) and remove pin (12).
7.4 Unscrew screw spindle (3) and threaded sleeve (8)
from body (1) watching compression spring (20)
7.5 Remove circlip (19)
7.6 Remove toothed insert (11), turn the screw clock-
wise until the teeth engage in insert (11) and push
back threaded sleeve (8) in the axial direction.
7.7 Pull threaded sleeve (8) and guide sleeve (9)
from screw spindle (3)
7.8 Remove cyl. screw (16) and take off
guide plate (6).
7.9 Pull movable jaw (2) off body
7.10 To reassemble the vice, reverse the above
procedure.
7.11 The screw spindle and movable jaw must always
move easily.
Type BSS:
Make sure that threaded sleeve (8) is properly positio-
ned when reassembling the vice; see dimension 22-26
in the sectional drawing and the position of pin (12) in
detail section A--B.
