► Select "Device > General" menu item.
The R&S NGE100B displays the "General" dialog. See Figure 5-25.

General instrument settings Description
Keypad Selects the wait time before the instrument automat-
ically leaves the editing mode. Select "Off" to dis-
able the automatic switching back.
Display Selects the specific screen intensity to control the
screen brightness. Setting is applied immediately.
Sound Selects the event where sound is generated.

Fault Events: Sounds on faulty events only

Any Event: Sounds on faulty events and key
press events
●
Disabled: No sound is generated
5.7.3 Managing Options
Options are enabled by entering a registered license key code.
You may choose to install from an xml file on USB or by manually entering the key
code.
► Select "Device > License" menu item.
The R&S NGE100B displays the "License" dialog. See Figure 5-26.
