Color Operating mode Description
Inactive mode Display only.
Editing mode A solid blue background is shown
when an item is selected.
CV mode Active outputs are operated in a
constant voltage mode. See
Chapter 5.3, "Output Modes",
on page 35.
CC mode Active outputs are operated in a
constant current mode.See Chap-
ter 5.3, "Output Modes",
on page 35.
5.1.2 Function Keys
The keys can be categorized based on their functions.

= Memory functions
2 = Output settings and functions
3 = Navigation keys
Memory functions
These keys are dedicated for a specific preprogrammed function.
Function keys Description
M1 to M5 Five memory keys to save or recall instrument settings.
Store Recall Saves/loads instrument settings. See Chapter 5.4.5, "Store and Recall",
on page 39.
Instrument functions
These keys control the channel output settings and instrument functions.
Function keys Description
Ch 1, Ch 2, Ch 3 Selects the respective channel for settings. See Chapter 5.4.1, "Setting the Chan-
nels Voltage and Current", on page 36.
Output Toggles the output of the selected channel on or off. See Chapter 4.3.3, "Activating
the Channels Output", on page 24.
