Surface Maintenance
It is essential that SAFE STEP
®
Tapes and Treads are cleaned regularly to maximise the anti-slip performance. Under normal conditions
periodically sweeping with a stiff brush is all that should be required. For heavily soiled surfaces the use of a water based biodegradable
detergent cleaner may be used in conjunction with a fibre bristled brush. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry
before use.
Limitations
• We do not recommend applying SAFE STEP
®
Tapes and Treads to plasticised or vinyl floor coverings.
• Avoid using cleaning fluids, which contain silicone.
• Avoid applying tapes or treads over cracks or grout lines.
