3.5.3.2.1 Command Echo - E
E - Command Echo
ATE[<n>]
Set command enables/disables the command echo.
Parameter:
<n>
0 - disables command echo
1 - enables command echo (factory default) , hence command sent to the
device are echoed back to the DTE before the response is given.
Note: if parameter is omitted, the command has the same behaviour of
ATE0

3.5.3.2.2 Quiet Result Codes - Q
Q - Quiet Result Codes
ATQ[<n>]
Set command enables or disables the result codes.
Parameter:
<n>
0 - enables result codes (factory default)
1 - disables result codes
2 - disables result codes (only for backward compatibility)
Note: After issuing either ATQ1 or ATQ2 every information text transmitted
in response to commands is not affected
Note: if parameter is omitted, the command has the same behaviour of
ATQ0
Example
After issuing ATQ1 or ATQ2
AT+CGACT=?
+CGACT: (0-1) nothing is appended to the response
