1. Description
The Trusted
TM
16 Channel 120Vac Isolated Digital Output FTA T8873 provides termination for a
maximum of 16 output channels. Figure 2 below shows the configuration of a single channel.

The supply for the field is connected via terminal blocks TB4 and TB8 on the FTA. This is supplied to
the module on sockets SK3 and SK6.
The output signals to the field (16-off) are connected from the module on sockets SK1, SK2, SK4 and
SK5. These connect to the field via transient suppression on 12-way terminal blocks TB1, TB2, TB5
and TB6. Each channel includes two isolated live connections from the module and a derived safety
neutral connection. Earth connections are provided on separate terminal blocks TB3 and TB7.
