There are the following types of permissions available:

• Filter permissions

• Report permissions

• Report data source permissions

• Report object permissions (page 240)

There are the following filter permissions:

Item Description

Delete Filter Allows the selected users or groups to delete the filter.

Author Licenses only.

Edit Filter Allows the selected users or groups to make changes to the filter.

Author Licenses only.

Edit Filter Security Allows the selected users or groups to grant security permissions for

the filter to other users or groups.

Author Licenses only.

View Filter

Allows the selected users or groups to view the filter.
