Before You Install the Motor
1. Remove the motor carefully from its shipping container.
2. Visually inspect the motor for any damage.
3. Examine the motor frame and mounts, drive flange, mounting holes,
and dowel pin hole for any defects.
ATTENTION
!
Do not open or attempt to open the motor.
Only a qualified Rockwell Automation employee can
service this type of motor.
Failure to observe these safety procedures could result
in personal injury or damage to equipment.
