Program and Test a Simple Project Chapter 1
2. Start RSLinx Classic software.
3. Click .
4. Select RS-232 DF1 devices and click .
5. From the Comm Port pull-down menu, choose the COM port of your computer.
6. From the Device pull-down menu, choose Logix 5550/CompactLogix.
7. Click .
8. When the auto-configuration completes, click OK.
The driver is successfully configured and running.
