• Conversion factor = rise in the graph
m = (y2 – y1) / (x2 – x1) m
= (4 - 0) / (20 – 12) = 0.5
•
Zero point = intersection point with the x-axis on the graph (bar value at y = 0)
n = y – m x
n = 4 – 0.5 x 20 = -6
y = m x + n
x = (y – n) / m
x = (0 + 6) / 0.5 = 1
