Changing the Custom Tag of HART Variables
1. Select the HART variable for which you wou
ld like to change the custom tag.
2. Press the
OK button.
3. Select the Custom Tag menu.
The device displays:
if a value has not be
en defined: the insert mark and the symbol 
If a value is defined: the insert mark on the first character, the following character,
and the symbol 

To select one of eight possi
ble positions for the insert mark before the symbol
, press the  or  button.
5. Confirm y
our selection with OK.
The insert mark flashes.
6.
To select a character, press
the  or  button.
7. Confirm your entry with OK.
8. Repeat steps
4 and 7, until all characters have been entered. You can also define
spaces.
9.
To select the s
ymbol  , press the  or  button.
10. Confirm your entry with OK.
The new value for Custom Tag has been
stored.
Canceling the Value Input for HART Variables You
ca
n cancel the value entry at any time.
Press the ESC button.
