Accessing Data Table Files
There
are several ways to access the Data Monitor function.
Option 1
At
the Main menu press

. Enter the
address you want to monitor and press

or [ALT-D]. Enter the
address you want to monitor.

The data file corresponding to the instruction address is displayed.
Note Data
table file protection is available with any of the SLC 500 pr
ocessors. However
,
the form of pr
otection can only be changed during offline pr
ogramming.
Fixed and SLC 5/01 pr
ocessors — output files ar

otected
and all other files ar
e unpr
otected.
SLC 5/02 pr
ocessors — at the time you save your pr
ogram you can statically
pr
otect output files, all files, or no files.
SLC 5/03 and SLC 5/04 pr
ocessors — you can choose between static or
constant pr
otection for data table files on a per file basis.
