5-4 Setting Up DH+ Direct Communications

Type a name (if desired), and then click

. The

Configure Allen-Bradley

1784-KTX/KTXD

dialog box appears.

Important:

If you are configuring a 1784-PCMK card, a different dialog box

appears (not shown). If you are using Windows NT, you must specify an

interrupt in the

Interrupt

field. To view interrupts in Windows NT, click the

Start

button, and select

Programs

Administrative Tools

, and

Windows NT

Diagnostics

. In the

Windows NT Diagnostics

dialog box, click the

Resources

tab.

In the

Valu e

field, select the DH+ interface card that you are using.

In the

Property

box, edit fields to match the settings of the interface card.

Important:

To edit a field, click it in the

Property

box; then select a value in

the

Value

field.

Click

to save the configuration. The new driver appears in the

Configure Drivers

dialog box.
