Message Description
REMOTEI/OUSER FAULT OCCURRED The RIO module detectedthatthe user faultbitwasset. The interboard communicationsfault
LEDisflashing.
REMOTEI/OWATCHDOG TIMEOUT The watchdog mechanismon theRIOmoduletimed out,indicatingthatthe RIO module hasnot
operated in an expectedmannerfor possibly17ms. The processorfaultLED isturned ON.
REMOTE IO INTERPROCESSOR HANDSHAKE FAUL T The RIO module failed to detectthe complementofthe user-handshakeword,in the
complementuser-handshakewordin commonRAM,within the handshakeinterval. The user
devicehas not shook handswith the RIO module. Theinterboardcommunications faultLEDis
flashing.
REPLACE ABSOLUTE FB BATTERY The battery thatattachestotheservomoduleand supplies power fortheabsolute encoders is
under-voltage and mustbereplaced.
REPLACE MEMORYBACKUP BATTERY The battery thatattaches tothemainprocessorboard andsuppliespowerforthe control’sRAM
memoryisunder-voltageand mustbe replaced. Ifnotreplaced,AMPdata cannotbecopied to
backupmemory and partprogramdata may belost.
REQUESTED DAT ATOO LARGE The data you are tryingtosend orreceive is too large.
REQUIRES AT LEAST TWO AXES A transferline quickviewpromptwasselected for acycle which requires two ormore axes.

RESETTING E--STOP Onceyou pushtheE--Stop Reset button to clearthe E-- Stopstate,the Resetting E--Stop

systemiso utofE--Stop and the drives a re enabled,theco ntro l clears this me ssage. Ifthe error
condition is notcleared,this message clears,butthe E--STOP”message continuestoflash as
the controlremains inE--Stop state.
RETRACE NOT ALLOWED Aretraceis notallowed fromthe pointinprogramexecution.
RIGHT OPERAND MUST BE POSITIVE Therightoperandofa logical operatormustbea positive value. Negativevalues are illegal; for
example,1AND--2 isillegalbecauseofthe --2.
RING I /O RECOVERYDISABLED This message is activated when the {RECVRYDISABL} softkey ispressed on the I/O RING
MONITORpage.Itis a visualindicatorthatthe operatorhasdisabledthe I/O Ring retry
functionality.
RIOCOMMON RAM ACCESS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED The control’srequestto usetheRIO module wasdenied. The RIO module lostpower,orthe
controlwas restarted,but theRIOmodulewasnot.
ROLLOVER/OVERTRAVEL INCOMPATIBLE Overtravellimitswere specified in AMPforan axis thatisconfigured asa rolloveraxis. Rollover
axesdo nothaveovertravellimits.
ROTARYAXISCANNOT BESCALED A rotary axis cannotbescaled.
ROTARYWORD OUT OF RANGE A rotary axiswasprogrammedto moveto an absoluteposition thatisgreater than orequalto
360 degrees. Inabsolutemode,arotarywordmustrange between 0 and 360 degrees.
ROUGHING CYCLE NESTINGERROR The contourblocks called bya roughing cycletodefinethefinished contour ofapartcontain a
blockthatlikewise callsfor aroughingcycle. Contourblocksforaroughing cycle cannotcontain
a blockthat likewise calls for a roughingcycle.
ROUGHING CYCLE PROGRAMMING ERROR A syntaxerror hasbeen foundin aroughingroutine block (G72,G73,G74,orG75).
RUNG NUMBER NOT FOUND The rungnumberyouare searching forin the search monitor utilitydoes notexistinthecurrent

Acc/Decmode. The followingcan notbeused withS-- CurveAcc/Dec: 7300 Series Tape
Compatibility,PAL AxisMover,CircularInterpolationMode (G02,G03),Feed to Hard Stop
(G24),jogging,threading,andsolidtapping.
