Message Description
CYLIND/VIRTUAL CONFIGURATION ERROR An axis configurationerror was detectedby thecontrol whencylindricalinterpolation orendface
millingwas requestedin aprogramblock. Someexampleswould include:
Acylindrical/virtual axis isnamed sameasa realaxisorismissing (forexample ona
lathe A,the cylindrical axis mayhavebeen named the same asa incremental axis name).
Acylindrical/virtual axis isnamed thesame asanotherprogramingcommand (forexample
a secondary auxiliary word,the angleword,etc...).
D
D-WORDISGREATERTHAN TOOL DIA. The programmed D-wordvalue is greaterthan thetool diameterofthe currenttool.
D-WORD ISLESS THAN AMP THRESHOLD T he D-wordhas beenprogrammedwith avalue thatistoosmall.
D-WORDOUT OF RANGE More than 1000auto-dressoperations werespecified bytheD-word ina grinderfixed cycle.
DACMONITORCIPC ON Thismessagecomesup onpower-up,afterpatchAMP hasbeen modified to invoke DAC
monitoring ofthe coarse incremental positioncommand.
DACMONITORF.E.ON T he axis-following errorisbeing outputto the DAC outputportformonitoringand debugging.
Turning parameters86 or87ON throughpatchAMP enablesthis output.
DACMONITORFVON This messagecomesup onpower-up,afterpatchAMP hasbeen modified to invokeDAC
monitoring ofthe fine interpolated finalvelocity foreachfineiteration (20ms).
DACMONITORINTEGRATOR ON Thismessagecomesup onpower-up,afterpatch AMP hasbeen modified to invoke DAC
monitoring ofthe velocityerror integratoraccum.
DACMONITORVEL ERRORON This message comes up on power-up,after patch AMPhasbeen modifiedtoinvokeDAC
monitoring ofthe velocityerror.
DACMONITORVELOCITYON T he axisvelocitycommand isbeing outputtothe DACoutputportfor monitoringand
debugging. Turning ONparameters86or 87 through patch AMPenablesthisoutput.
DATAMAY BEOUTPUT TO PRINTER ONLY The informationbeing outputby thecontrol isintended to gotoa printer. Makesurethatthe
output portthatis selected isproperly connected toa printerandtry again.
DATASTARVED The controlis waitingforthe nextprogramblockto setup. Typically, this istheresultofthe
controlexecuting a partprogramfasterthanitcanbe read froma peripheraldevicesuchas a
tape reader. This erroroftenoccursimmediately afterthe executionofseveralveryshort,
rapidly executed blocks. To preventthiserror fromreoccurring, itis recommendedthatthe
programbe loadedinto controlmemory or to afasterperipheraldevice.
DECIMAL POINT ERROR Aword orparameterhasbeen programmed withmore thanone decimalpoint.
DECIMAL POINT NOT ALLOWED Awordor parameterhas beenprogrammed with adecimalpointwhenitcanlegallyexistonly
asan integervalue . Forexample, the numberofrepetitions (L) mustbean integervalue
programmed withouta decimalpoint.
DEFAULT AMPLOADED This indicatesthat thedefaultAMPvaluesstored inthecontrol’s executive memoryhave been
activated. AMP inRAMandAMPinBackupmemorywereeitherunavailable or corrupt. This
message can also occurifthe battery backup fails.
DEFAULTS LOADED The defaultdeviceset-up parameterswereloadedintothecurrentdevice.
DEPTH > PROGRAMMED ENDPOINT T his erroroccursduringa threadingcycle whenthedepthofthecutexceeds the programmed
final depth ofthread.
