Message Description
BAD RAM DISC SECTOR CHECKSUM ERROR A RAM disk sector error was detected during the RAM checksum test at power-up. Attempt to
power-upagain. Iftheerrorremains, contactAllen-Bradleycustomer supportservices.
BAD RECORD IN PROGRAM Thisindicatesaseriousproblemwiththe program. Attempttoopen the programa second time.
Ifretrydoesn’twork,you may havetodelete theprogram. Typically thiserror is notcaused by a
programmer or operatoraction. Itistypicallycaused by an internalsoftware errorin the
program.
BAD STATE/TOKEN COMBINATION (PROGRAM
ERROR)
While attempting todecodethe currentblock,a combinationofcharacters caused a decode
errorto occur. Checkthecharacters in the currentblockforan illegal combination.
BATTERY FAILURE The batterythatprovidesbackup oftheRAMmemoryisnot functioning;thevoltagemaybe low.
The batterymaybedead,removed,or poorly connected.
BLKDELETE CHG IGNORED ON PREPAREDBLKS A block-delete was activatedwhileaprogramwas executi ng. This change is ignoredbythe
control forblocksthathavealreadybeen read into thecontrol’s set-upbuffer(seeblock
look-aheadin user’smanual).
BLOCK LENGTH ERROR Ablockthatexceeds theallowable maximumblock length wasprogrammed.
BLOCK RETRACE ABORTED The block retrace operation being performedhasbeen canceled. W hen <CYCLE START>is
pressed,thecontrol will return the tool along a linearpathback tothe start-point ofthe block
retraceoperation.
BOOT DIRECTORY ISMISSING The update utilityfailedtoproperlycreate the systemboot directory. Retrythe update. Ifthe
erroroccursagain, contactyourlocal Allen Bradleyservice.
BOOTSTRAP FAILEDTO ST ART Thebootstrapcode did notsendthe “ok”signal to themainprocessorwithin thespecifiedtime.
BOTH AXES IN QPP PLANE NOT PRGMD The secondblock ofacurrentlyexecutingQ uickPathPlus two-blocksetdoes not containboth

end-pointof thesecondmove.
