To remove a slot cover (to add a board):
1. Remove the top cover. See Page 4-3.
2. Locate the slot cover you want to remove.
3. Remove the screw securing the slot cover and remove the cover.

To install a slot cover (after removing a card):
1. Insert the end of the cover into the slot in the chassis.
2. Install the screw securing the slot cover, tighten to 0.7 - 0.9 N-m (6-8
in-lbs.)
