5–3 Operating the Scanner
The scan angle adjustment switch has 4 positions:
• Position #1 is full scan angle
• Position #2 is

To avoid an unnecessarily long scan, rotate this switch
counterclockwise. The scan angle will reduce from full to
approximately
#@4, and !@2.
Figure 5.2 shows the scan angle relative to the switch position. In
each case, the usable beam will be approximately 80% of the actual
beam width.
