Applicable Terminals

Use this remote RS-232 port assembly with these terminals:

• PanelView Standard 550, 600, 900, 1000, 1400 terminals

• PanelView 1000e and 1400e terminals (Series F and Later)

• PanelView Plus terminals

• VersaView CE terminals

Description

The remote RS-232 port is provided in a metal enclosure with a

protective cap (NEMA 4X - indoor use only). A 3.1 m (10 ft) cable for

connection to the PanelView terminal is provided.

Make a cutout in the panel door and drill four mounting holes. Remove any burrs on the holes. 4.76 mm 3/16 in. 4 Places 66.7 mm 2.625 in. 66.7 mm 2.625 in. dia. 76.2 mm + 0.05 -0.00 dia. 3.00 in. + 0.025 -0.000 2. From the rear of the panel, install the remote serial port assembly in the cutout. 3.

5. Connect the remote serial port cable to the RS-232 port on the back of the terminal. Secure the cable with the screws on the connector.
