The Memory Transfer function allows the DTAM Plus to initiate a memory
transfer between a controller memory module and the controller.
• Memory transfers with an SLC are bidirectional. Data can be transferred
to and from the memory module.
• PLC transfers are only from the PLC to the memory module.
SLC Controllers
1. Select item 3 from the Special Menu to access the Mem Xfer function.
You are prompted for a transfer direction:
Memory Transfer
Press
”Y” SLC ! MEM Pack
”N” MEM PAC ! SLC
2. Place the memory module into the SLC. The SLC must be in the
program mode.
3. Press [Y] to transfer data (ladder program and data files) from the SLC to
the memory module.
Press [N] to transfer data from the memory module to the SLC.
You are returned to the Main Menu.
PLC Controllers
1. Select item 2 from the Special Menu to access the Mem Xfer function.
The PLC must be in Program or Remote Program mode or you will be
prompted:
Not in Program
or RemoteMode
Press ”Y” to continue
You are prompted to continue the operation:
Press ”Y” to transfer
from PLC memory
to the module
2. Place the memory module into the PLC.
3. Press [Y] to transfer data from the PLC to the memory module.
Press [N] to abort the operation.
The DTAM Plus will display either:
EEPROM
Successfully Burned
Press ”Y” to continue
ERROR
EEPROM NOT BURNED
Press ”Y” to continue
